AI in creative practice

Exploring how AI-assisted carefully considered workflows can be integrated into e-commerce production to improve the realism, flexibility, and efficiency of product storytelling.

THE CHALLENGE /

Fast-moving e-commerce environments require a constant flow of product imagery.

Traditional workflows are often too slow, while basic clearcut imagery can lack realism and depth.

THE PROCESS /

AI-assisted workflows were introduced in Photoshop as a considered extension of the creative process.

Rather than replacing traditional methods, AI was used to enhance:

  • lighting and composition

  • material realism and texture

  • brand-specific styling

  • visual consistency across assets

Each output was still art directed with intent. It is important to treat AI as a production tool, not a shortcut.
